The croques, it goes alone! Here is a recipe that will undoubtedly appeal to your young gourmands ... and the older ones.


  • For 4 people :
  • 8 slices of bread
  • 1 C. mustard condiment (Savora type)
  • 4 slices of white ham. 4 slices of emmental
  • 2. c. oil soup
  • A big nut of butter.


Cut the ham slices to the size of the pine slices. Keep the falls. Spread mustard on four slices of bread.
Place the slice of ham and the slices on the mustard, then the cheese on top. Butter one side of the remaining slices of bread. Put them on the cheese.
Heat a spoonful of oil in a pan and brown the croque-monsieur for 2 minutes. Add the remaining oil and brown the other side.

Cheese variations: croque-monsieur can also be cooked with Comté cheese or cheddar, or panini version, with mozzarella and slices of tomato.
